Though originally founded in 1998 as, Sarco, a general electronics distributor, the company expanded in 2000 into building custom cable assemblies utilizing the connectors and cable already being distributed. Since incorporation in 2000, the Sarco Inc. headquarters have been located in Orange County California. In 2002, the company expanded to include an 11,000 square foot building as a permanent manufacturing, cable assembly and distribution center. This new facility allowed Sarco to better accommodate the increasing demand for building wireless products.

Sarco’s cable business has been supported by a large growth spurt in the electronic distribution business. Recognizing the value of internet marketing and search engine optimization, Sarco launched in 2004 the e-commerce site 123eDistribution, a DBA by which Sarco is now known.

In 2008 Sarco extracted the value added service from its distribution business to brand 123eWireless, a design and manufacturing company focused on creating integrated wireless products. By leveraging its resources as a component distributor and its proprietary manufacturing technology, 123eWireless has created a niche business building competitively priced products produced domestically in the US for the US market. This capability has allowed 123eWireless to meet the quality and time restraints that non domestic suppliers cannot.
